¡Hola a todos! Hoy os quiero contar más sobre las actividades y las tareas de mi voluntariado en Europa Joven Madrid.
En estos cuatro meses he aprendido mucho y he desarrollado diferentes actividades. Ha sido al mismo tiempo un reto y una responsabilidad, y me siento muy satisfecha y contenta.
Una de las tareas que más me está gustando son los talleres de idioma. Desde marzo, Lucrezia y yo gestionamos y preparamos los talleres de idioma en inglés y italiano. Dos veces a la semana nos conectamos con un grupo de chicos y chicas y, a través de temáticas diferentes, hacemos una hora y media de conversación para que ellos puedan mejorar el conocimiento del idioma. Me gusta mucho porque nosotras también estamos aprendiendo mucho sobre culturas y tradiciones de otros países.
Otras actividades muy importantes en las que estoy aportando mi ayuda son las sesiones informativas, presenciales y online. Como voluntaria explico mi experiencia personal, como he conseguido llegar a hacer mi voluntariado y cuales son las cosas más importantes durante el proceso, por ejemplo cómo escribir una buena carta motivacional. Los chicos y las chicas siempre están muy interesados/as, sobre todo porque me pueden hacer preguntas y tienen una experiencia directa como ejemplo.
También estoy ayudado con las sesiones de formación a la salida. Es un tipo de formación que hace la organización de envío, que en estos casos es Europa Joven, a los voluntarixs de España antes de irse de voluntariado en el extranjero.
Forman parte de mis tareas de voluntarias, todas las actividades con lox otrox voluntarixs, por eso coordino y me ocupo de las publicaciones en el blog de voluntarios: From Europe to Vallecas, donde cada semana contamos algo más sobre nuestras experiencia.
Estamos desarrollando nuestro proyectos personales a través de reuniones, intercambio de ideas y trabajo en equipo, y también juntos estamos participando en iniciativas como la recogida de alimentos.
Siento que en estos meses aprendí mucho y cada día intento aportar algo personal, haciendo mi trabajo de la mejor forma.
Tengo muchas ganas de seguir viviendo esta experiencia, tanto por la parte profesional como personal.
Hi everyone! Today I want to tell you more about all the activities and tasks I’m developìng doing my volunteering in Europa Joven.
During these four months I’ve learnt a lot and I’ve challenged myself with different activities. It was at the same time a responsibility and a pleasure, and I’m feeling really satisfied and happy about it.
One of the tasks I’m appreciating more is the one about Languages Workshops, since the beginning of March, with the help of Lucrezia I’m organizing and preparing every class in english and italian. Two times per week we connect with the group of guys and through different topics, we have conversations in order to improve the level of the language.
I really like this activity because it is also a big opportunity for us to know more about different cultures and traditions.
Another relevant activity I’m helping with are the info sessions, either online and in person. As a volunteer I tell my personal experience, how I got here and what are the most important things you need to have in mind, like how to write a good motivation letter.
The guys are always interested, especially because they can ask me questions about how I’m living my experience.
I’m also helping with the “before departure training”, made by the sending organization, Europa Joven, to all the volunteers that are about to leave and go abroad for their volunteering.
As a group of volunteers we also do some activities together. I’m coordinating and taking care of this blog, From Europe to Vallecas where every week we tell something more about our experience. We’re also developing our personal projects through meetings, exchange of ideas and teamworking. All together we’re participating in initiatives like collecting food for the families in need.
I feel that in these months I’ve learnt a lot and everyday I try to give something more doing my job at the best.
I’m looking forward to living more and more this experience, both for professional and human growth.
